Right-Wing Think-Tanks Hard at Work
The right-wing, Republican think-tanks are hard at work figuring every angle, to come up with ways to manipulate and game the voting system in their favor. They will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
And they've gotten really good at it.
They have discovered that the U.S. Presidential election can be won with less than 23% of the popular vote when you know how and where (which states) to manipulate the Electoral College voting system, cheating millions of Americans out of their vote.
The United States is built on democratic principles of fairness and equality for every person.
Fairness and equality for all voters only comes through popular vote elections where every vote counts equally. Not by 538 electors (out of a nation of more than 320 million people).
And because they're not legally required to vote for any particular candidate, these so-called electors can vote for anyone they choose.
There is no fairness, there is no equality, in the Electoral College system of voting.
This method (Electoral College) of electing the President of the United States (and it's the only one like it in the world) has been referred to as strange, jury-rigged, outdated, unfair, indirect, broken, misrepresentative, disproportionate, delusional, bizarre and the list could go on.
Fair and honest elections, where every vote is counted equally, is what we are all about.
And electing the president by a national popular vote, contrary to what many people have been led to believe, does not require an amendment to the constitution.
